„Instruments modelled after Old Italian and French Masters are my source of inspiration in exploring and creating my own models'.”

In my work I use primarily the models of Antonio Stradivari, 1715, “Betts“, “La Messie”, Giuseppe Guarneri del Gesu “Lafont” and “II Cannone”. However, I also copy the models of Giovanni B.Rogeri,Francesco Ruggieri,Nicolas Lupot, Mateo Gofriller, Andrea Guarneri and others.

Violin based on the model of Giuseppe Guarnerii del Gesu „Lafont”

Top: fine-grained spruce Back, ribs and neck – well grained ,wavy and flamed sycamore, Bosnian style ; reddish-brown oil varnish with golden undercoat

The varnish I use represent a vast range of hues , yet most often they are reddish-brownish,oil (amber) or alcohol-based(propolis). Sometimes I varnish with delicate differences in colour and chisel marks which are meant to imitate the appearance of old instruments.

I have been running my atelier since 1985.
It is located in Starowiślna Street in Cracow.
